Recently, NCC directed the four major network providers in Nigeria to block over 9.2 million sim cards that are not properly registered. This was due to the latest directives from the Federal Government.
MTN and the rest of others has urged some subscribers whose informations are incomplete to go for a fresh sim registration exercise. Subscriber who fail to do this will get their Sim card(s) blocked by the network.
To avoid such from happening, you need to re-register your line. If you ain't sure whether your sim is registered or not, then here is how you can confirm your mobile number(s) registration status to avoid being blocked by NCC.
How To Check Your Sim Registration Status
It's now possible to check your sim registration status via USSD code / SMS.
MTN > dial *789*1#
Airtel > dial *746#
9mobile > dial 746 or 200
Glo > text REG to 746 or 3456
